Thursday, June 26 - Sacred Mountains and Glacier Rituals in the Himalayas presented by Adina Racoviteanu
Mountains throughout the world have been worshipped for their inspiring beauty, their sacred significance and their importance as water sources. This slide show illustrates the symbolism of Himalayan peaks as sacred centers ('axis mundi'), places of revelation, or places of the divine. Adina Racoviteanu draws from her experiences as a geographer conducting research on glacier changes and ritual practices in the high mountains of the Andes and the Himalayas. This slide show will blend stories from glaciologic  expeditions to solo exploration of pilgrimage places and mountain culture in the Indian and Nepal Himalayas.

Friday, Saturday and Sunday - June 27-29 - Rep Off

Thursday, July 3 - No show

Thursday, July 10 - Front Range Spring Skiing presented by Aaron Miller
